New Blog!

Ok so...I'm pretty sure nobody but me, Ben & Jamie, and Caitie & Nathan are going to use this blog. Seeing that they already have blogs this is kinda a repeat blog for them! So I think I will just start my own and then we can just read each others! (Unless you guys are dying to keep using this one) Mom and Dad, you can use it if you want! Anyway, my new blog is jennaleighcurran.blogspot.com. I can't guarantee it will be very exciting or that I will post very much, but if you want to read it, go for it!

Top of Utah Marathon :)

We did it! 5 hours 1 min and 58 seconds to be exact :) I'll blog about it more on our blog soon.... you'll have to read about the lovely details. It was crazy :D Thanks again to mom and dad for watching us finish!

It's a COLLEGE life for ME!

I can't believe I've already been at college for THREE weeks! Time is flying by! I'll just give you a quick update on everything that's been going on. (oh and p.s., I have been taking pictures, but I can't find my camera cord so I'll have to upload them some other time...maybe :) ) It was pretty scary moving away from home, but my roommates are all really nice. It also helped to have Caitie and Nathan so close by. My first weekend, we had Sunday dinner, and Nathan was in my very first class! The first week of classes was a little intimidating. Everyone is so smart here! However, I'm loving all my classes and professors. My favorite class so far is anatomy. We just finished memorizing all the bones of the skeleton, and we started learning about muscles today-on real CADAVERS! It was so cool! The only thing I don't like about the class are the annoying pre-med students who think they know everything and call me "the freshman". Guess who got 100% on the lab quiz today and guess who didn't? Ya, take that Mr. Pre-med. :) My first week I also had three auditions for women's chorus. They were pretty scary and I completely failed one of them, but by some miracle I made BYU Women's Chorus! So far I'm loving it! My roommate and 5 other girls in our building are in it as well. Our first concert is September 22nd, and it should be awesome :) One of my favorite things about college so far is my all-sports pass. So far, I've been to a few soccer and volleyball games. These were fun, but I'm most excited for the first football home game on Saturday-BYU vs. Utah! Oh, I have to mention that I have officially cooked TWO meals for my roommates! I'm definitely the worst cook in our apartment, but thankfully I only have to cook once a week :) Hopefully, I will find my camera cord soon and I can show you pictures! I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to be at college and to learn! Thanks Mom and Dad for preparing me to be here and all that you've sacrificed. Love you guys SO much!

Cubs vs. Astros

We went to the Cubs game a few Saturdays ago. Turns out that Charlotte likes baseball. She even learned how to say "strike!" and pump her fist.
